Six years ago, I started an esthetic program with no clear roadmap, just a “what if”.

Then the pandemic hit.
I was working full time in healthcare while in the esthetic program silently wondering wtf did I get myself into? I kept showing up, learning, working and slowly building a clientele out of my second bedroom. Late nights. Early mornings. No shortcuts.

There were impulsive decisions. Partnering with the wrong people. Lessons learned the hard way. Then starting over again from scratch with more clarity and stronger boundaries.

Growth came faster than I ever expected.
In September 2023 I opened the doors of my first storefront.
I hired. I fired. I learned who to and not to trust.
But most importantly, I learned how to trust myself.

Fast forward to February 2025, I did the scariest thing yet. I quit my 9 to 5. No more steady paychecks, no more job security, no more good health insurance (this hit me the hardest).

Today, I wake up to the studio I once journaled about. The space I dreamed of one day having. The business I built with intention, resilience, and faith.

This journey has stretched me, humbled me, and shaped me.
And I know in my bones this is just the beginning.

It is only going to get better from here 🤍🙏🏼
