Korean Skincare Facials Explained: Green Sea Peel, V-Lift & CO2 Carboxy Therapy

Korean skincare is famous for being gentle, results-driven, and focused on long-term skin health rather than quick, harsh fixes. We have brought several standout Korean-inspired treatments into our menu. Here is what each one does and who it is for.

Green Sea Peel: natural micro-needling without the needles

The Green Sea Peel uses bio micro-needles derived from natural sea sponges (spicules) to create gentle micro-channels in the skin. This stimulates cell turnover and collagen, helping with texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and dullness, with a controlled peeling process over the following days. It is a favorite for skin renewal without aggressive downtime, and it is naturally derived rather than chemical.

Best for: texture, congestion, acne scarring, and overall renewal.

V-Lift Facial: lifting and contouring

The V-Lift is an anti-aging treatment focused on lifting, firming, and sculpting, working to define the contours of the face (the coveted V-shape) and improve firmness. It is a relaxing, non-invasive way to address early signs of aging and loss of definition.

Best for: loss of firmness, jawline and contour definition, and an anti-aging boost.

CO2 Carboxy Therapy: the oxygenating treatment

Carboxy therapy delivers carbon dioxide to the skin, which prompts the body to send a rush of oxygen-rich blood to the area (a response called the Bohr effect). The result is brighter, more energized-looking skin, improved circulation, and a healthy glow. It is a wonderful add-on for tired, dull, or stressed skin.

Best for: dullness, tired skin, uneven tone, and an instant glow.

How to know which is right for you

These treatments shine when matched to your specific concern and skin type, which is exactly what an RN-led consultation is for. Many clients rotate them into a longer-term plan rather than picking just one. If you are newer to facials, start with How to Choose the Right Facial, and if texture or scarring is your main concern, also compare with chemical peels.
